The General Federation of Trade Unions Educational Trust is seeking a skilled trusts fundraiser to prepare and manage grant applications to support a new stage in its development. The Trust (www.gftu.org.uk) manages a range of publishing, artistic and cultural activities alongside an educational and welfare programme and support services for organisations, and also has a wholly owned subsidiary company operating a Hotel and conference centre in Quorn Leicestershire.
The main responsibilities will be:
· To generate new income for the GFTU Educational Trust to fund both core costs and specific projects.
· To research and identify funding opportunities from trusts and foundations, and other institutional funders.
· To prepare funding applications in support of the Trust’s priorities.
· To assist in the management of successful projects to ensure compliance with funders’ requirements.
